Gandy Dancer, SUNY literary magazine, seeks submissions

Hello all! Please share this message with your English, Writing, Photography and/or Arts Department faculty and students, or anyone who you think might be interested:
Calling all fellow brooding writers and tormented artists,

Gandy Dancer, a SUNY-wide literary magazine founded and housed at SUNY Geneseo, is currently open for submissions for our spring issue, Volume 4 Issue 2, and we need your magnificent work! We’re looking for poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, photography, and artwork from either current SUNY students or recent SUNY graduates. We want to hear your diverse and unique voices, and we’re always just as excited to see work that pushes boundaries as we are about work that bolsters and illuminates the time-honored traditions upon which our artistic community stands. Check out our previous issues (available both online and in print) and submission guidelines to get a better sense of what we’re all about.

We look forward to seeing your brilliant words, images, ideas, confessions, stories, sonnets, photographs, and everything in between, and sharing them with and beyond our SUNY community. The deadline for this issue — February 24 — is sneaking up, don’t miss it!

“If I had a magazine I could spend my time filling it with the best conversation the world has to offer.”– Margaret Anderson. Let’s share with the world what we have to offer. And please spread the word!
Warm regards,
GD Editorial Staff
